| "What are we going to do about Voltrick? We cant leave him here after you put a spell on him." Viggo said after Gordan finally moved and turned to walk away.
Gordan stopped with a snarl and turned to look back toward Viggo, who was replacing the arrow and bow to the carrier at his back. "If you're so worried about him, you take care of him." Gordan sneered and turned away again. "I did my part to stop him, now someone else gets to deal with him."
"Gordan!" Viggo yelled and ran up behind him, but was quickly halted as Gordan suddenly turned around again.
"Don't..." Gordan snapped and pointed a finger towards Viggo. "..even start with me. I put a spell on him, I can do the same to you. I've sacrificed enough for that man, I don't need to strain myself any further to move him. Especially after seeing him attacking everything before I got here."
"You don't understand." Viggo started, a stern look upon his face. "He was angry about what happened here. No one was hurt. He was even calming down after Murdoc.."
"Don't you DARE bring up Murdoc." Gordan retaliated. "He's the one who made him a worse monster than he already was!" |

| Murdoc led Aidan towards the town square, thinking it were best to gather where the others were...or at least find them easier. As they advanced, Murdoc's ear perked as he heard his name said twice distantly in harsh voices.
"Looks like they haven't left yet..." Murdoc frowned grimly, still supporting Aidan, a hand at his waist. After a few minutes passed by with them just walking, Murdoc had found it (strangely) easier to be with Aidan, as though something between them had went away. He couldn't for the life of him place what it was.
In response, Aidan tilted his head curiously, keeping up his pace as he and Murdoc arrived into the square, appearing between two buildings on the other side of where Gordan and Viggo were. There they stopped, rather, Aidan stopped as he stared in shock. Against a tattered building, he saw Voltrick lying face down against the ground, very still, with Gordan and Viggo together in a disputable stance.
Suddenly fumbling out of Murdoc's grasp, Aidan walked as quickly as he could towards Voltrick, leaving Murdoc to pause for a moment before following the cat. Soon arriving before Voltrick, Aidan stared down at him, honestly checking if he were alive or not. But he saw subtle signs of breathing from the tiger, containing his sigh of relief as Aidan swiftly turned towards both Gordan and Viggo.
What they would see was a cat covered by blood stains, fur matted with dirt and an infuriated glare beaming out that made even Murdoc stop in his tracks. Aidan looked like a crazed man.
"What happened?!" he barked, clutching both fists at his sides. "Why is Voltrick lying like this?!" With Aidan's appearance, and in knowing Aidan had a rather strong bond with Voltrick, it was best he be given a good answer. _________________ @ Blotch I keep the wolf from the door, but he calls me up Calls me on the phone, tells me all the ways that he's gonna mess me up |

| Viggo quickly turned around after hearing Aidan. He kept his stern composure with his back straightened and face serious. Unlike Gordan, who had jumped to Aidan's yell and gave an unsure glance towards him.
Viggo arched a brow, about to answer Aidan, completely willing to answer his demand in thorough detail. But suddenly felt it best for Gordan to answer and casually side stepped out of Gordan's way. If Gordan wants to leave Voltrick here after casting a spell on him, he can explain himself to someone who shares a strong bond with him. After stepping aside, a hand angled toward Gordan to show the boy he had to answer for himself.
Gordan scowled towards Viggo as he shifted himself. Gordan wanted to leave a long time ago, he absolutely didn't want to explain himself. Especially after looking towards Aidan. Normally, Aidan had a 'friendlier' look upon him. But there was nothing friendly about him now. "I don't need to explain anything. Murdoc can explain everything in detail." |

| Aidan watched carefully as Viggo stepped aside, as though to avoid something, but caught the soldier's small gesture towards Gordan. Green eyes peered back to the younger tiger in expectation. And after hearing Gordan's answer, Aidan's teeth clutched beneath his lips.
He suddenly felt this strange sensation of anger and...for better choice of wording it, an overly protective feeling.
Aidan began a hard walk towards Gordan, keeping his eyes on him the entire time. "I don't need Murdoc to tell me. The way I see it, he wouldn't have touched Voltrick if he didn't want to be bedridden for two weeks and Carvahall doesn't have a reason to do anything to Voltrick." he said sternly, a finger pointing over Gordan to Carvahall. Here he stopped, looking expectantly at Gordan. He wasn't a fool. The way Gordan had spoken was defensive, only leading one to believe he certainly had something to do with his friend lying unconscious. The reason why, Aidan wanted to know. _________________ @ Blotch I keep the wolf from the door, but he calls me up Calls me on the phone, tells me all the ways that he's gonna mess me up |

| Gordan growled defensively and stiffened up. "If you want to be so defensive of him then fine!" Gordan snapped with a snarl. "Do you see that building over there?!" he shouted and pointed toward the collasped building by Voltrick. "And do you see HIM as his BEAST?! ...HE destroyed that building and HE was attacking everyone." he pointed towards himself. "I stopped him before he could hurt anyone else!" |

| Aidan turned his head, very gently, to see where Gordan was pointing towards. His eyes scanned the scene carefully, and even after the tiger's explanation, Aidan kept a calculative expression on his features. Soon, though, he turned his head back forward to stare down at Gordan.
"You did that to him?" he repeated slowly and quietly. Suddenly that angered look returned to Aidan's features, leaning towards Gordan, "He wouldn't hurt anyone and you still did that to him?! What were you thinking?! You're his son!" _________________ @ Blotch I keep the wolf from the door, but he calls me up Calls me on the phone, tells me all the ways that he's gonna mess me up |

| Gordan tensed up in anger, the fur at the back of his neck standing on end at Aidan's last statement. You're his son! It was enough to be reminded of that fact everytime he saw Voltrick. He didn't need ANYONE pointing it out further. There was a reason he referred him as Voltrick instead of father.
"And how would you know if he wouldn't hurt anyone?!" Gordan snapped. "You weren't here, you didn't see that beast as it destroyed that building and attacked anyone who approached! I stopped him before someone got killed!"
Viggo stood to the side silently, but watched with a frustrated gaze. He wanted to interrupt and correct Gordan. Viggo was there and saw everything, Voltrick may have thrown a chair at him but he didn't attack anyone. But viggo knew it was best to remain quiet. Aidan was doing a well enough job scolding Gordan for what he did... and what he's doing. |

| "I would know!" Aidan shouted scornfully, measuring to Gordan's own tone or above it. "I would know what he's like! Don't you think he held me under his claws?!" at this point, he pointed to himself, unknowingly to the blood stain on his shirt. "He's hurt every one of us in the past, but now we're giving him a second chance. Everyone but you. I can't believe his own blood would be the last to accept his change!"
At this point, Murdoc had crept behind Aidan, extending a hand to grip the feline's shoulder. He pulled gently, worried that Aidan would overexert himself, his tone quite loud. "Aidan..." he tried carefully until he felt Aidan's shoulder jerk from his hand, the feline's gaze never turning away from Gordan as a central and important thought came to his mind.
"No!" he shouted as though to Murdoc until his words directed back to Gordan, "He's your father! How could you do that to him?!" he shouted, his features not so much as angered as greatly confused, past emotions reviving themselves within his mind.
The way Gordan treated Voltrick truly baffled him. Like many taken by the Ministry, he was parted from his family and never knew what became of them. In his mind, family was something to be greatly cherished, just the way he did with Antonis and the rest. _________________ @ Blotch I keep the wolf from the door, but he calls me up Calls me on the phone, tells me all the ways that he's gonna mess me up |

| Gordan fell silent, but kept his angered snarl. A second chance... Gordan growled to himself as he looked past Aidan toward Voltrick on the ground. His gaze narrowed spitefully. How could anyone give him a second chance? After all that he's done and how easily he became angered just now, how can anyone even think of giving that monster a chance.
"How can you be so accepting of him?" Gordan demanded as he looked back to Aidan. "After he's done so much to you? How can I?!" he only paused briefly to take a breath. "He abandoned his family and abandoned me! He attacked me and TORE off my arm!!" Gordan panted heavily as things became more personal. It was personal before, but now Gordan had to bring out what Voltrick did to him. "You only give him a chance because he's accepted you." he continued to pant heavily, but stopped yelling. "He's protective of you. YOU Aidan. I know how he is with you and everyone else. But has he given me the time of day?! NO! He has you!" He continued to pant heavily as he became increasingly riled... and emotional. |

| As Aidan listened, he gradually felt his temper pour out of him like water, his eyes staring down at Gordan with something near pity. After a moment when Gordan finished, Aidan took a look back to the lump on the ground that they were arguing over. The thing that caused the most bloodshed to his friends and always seemed to have an anger issue. Aidan could never find it in himself to hate it after all that.
A silent look was turned back on Gordan, seeing the younger one heave emotionally, knowing if pushed more, he would either snap or cry. But Aidan was right from the start...Gordan did feel jealous of him...perhaps jealousy was too strong a word, but close to it. It was ironic how he had spoken with Voltrick about it before arriving in town.
"Fine." he finally said sternly. "If you feel that way, then I won't get in your way anymore. I won't be a burden on you or him, so you two can sort yourselves out with each other. But don't mistake him for a monster. He certainly isn't. And I won't have you calling him that anymore."
Aidan slowly turned slightly as if to leave but soon stopped himself, pausing as another thought came to mind.
"You know...I saw a real monster before..." he stated quietly. _________________ @ Blotch I keep the wolf from the door, but he calls me up Calls me on the phone, tells me all the ways that he's gonna mess me up |

| Gordan continued to pant heavily as he watched Aidan, but slowed his breaths after Aidan spoke. An angered, but questioning look came upon his face as Aidan continued by saying he wont get in the way anymore.
Gordan looked away when Aidan told him to no call Voltrick a monster anymore, he wanted to retaliate to it. Gordan has looked at his father as a monster ever since he saw him again for the first time. Especially after Voltrick attacked him. Deep within himself, he knew he didn't want to call him a monster. He knew he shouldn't, but pain has forced him to say it.
The tiger's breathing calmed somewhat as he calmed himself, keeping his gaze lowered and away from the others. He couldn't even look at Voltrick now, he wanted to be alone. But then Aidan finally added another comment which raised Gordan's gaze to him again. His brow was lowered frustratedly, but he didn't snarl or sneer. |

| As the fragments of Aidan's memory played into one, he clutched a fist as his brows drew heavily over his narrowed eyes, glaring at nothing ahead of him, his side facing Gordan It was as though he were looking straight at the one he was recalling.
Cold, thin hands, holding themselves with certain grace. A smile that stretched and stretched at each horrid thought that gleamed through those--
"...He had violet eyes..." Aidan finished, glancing towards Voltrick. That man was the culprit to their suffering. He had planned all of it. It was until now that Aidan had fully recognized it. He imagined that if the man had learned of this, he would laugh in cold amusement.
Aidan frowned at the thought, holding himself straight as he walked towards Voltrick, set on helping him off the ground. Murdoc quickly followed behind, almost reading Aidan's mind and already against the idea of him doing it himself. _________________ @ Blotch I keep the wolf from the door, but he calls me up Calls me on the phone, tells me all the ways that he's gonna mess me up |

| "Violet eyes....?" Gordan quietly questioned to himself and lowered his gaze to the ground with a lowered brow. It wasn't a very good description... but from the way Aidan said it and his actions toward it, Gordan knew Aidan meant it and he felt meaning behind it. He was describing a person, someone. A person can be the real monster, not just someone who looks like one...
Viggo quirked a curious brow to Aidan, but lowered both eyebrows thoughtfully as he thought the entire conversation over. Especially toward the end. He's learned so much about these people in so little time. He's learned a lot of life's lessons through them as well.
A short moment passed before he looked up to see Aidan moving towards Voltrick with Murdoc quick to follow. It was obvious what he intended to do, and with Voltrick still in that beastly form they'll need all the help they could get. With that, Viggo stepped forward and quickened his pace to help. |
