| Accompanied with Aeth, Vincent and Aidan went back to the inn where the rest were staying. It was the early afternoon and the town was as busy as ever. There were noticeably more soldiers walking the roads, each clad in armor and making preparations.
"My, my. Had Ceres been taken by Faholgal?" Aeth asked as he glanced about, leading his horse by the reins. "The people seem rather unsettled."
"I think General Valcian ordered some troops to station here in case the Ministry are spotted." Vincent said, rubbing back his hair tiredly.
"I hope nothing happens." Aidan commented. Vincent glanced over to him and noticed the way the cat had his gaze turned away most of the time. Perhaps it was because of last night. Vincent swung an arm, catching Aidan's shoulders and brought the cat nearer to him with a smile.
"Don't worry! The Ministry's troops are said to be going somewhere else."
Aidan still looked troubled but still tried giving a little smirk. "I hope so. By the way, why are we going to the inn?"
"Well...you're going back there right?" Vincent said, blinking as though he were confused. Aidan laughed nervously. "Oh! Right..."
"A shame really..." Aeth sighed, closing his eyes gently, "Everyone would have been so jealous after I showed him off--"
"Stop saying things like that! It's unsettling! Look what you're doing to Aidan!" Vincent shouted as Aidan tried hiding his heated face with both hands.
Aeth laughed, "Can't I joke every so often?"
Vincent gaped as he stared up at Aeth. "Joke?! What kind of humor is that?! Whenever you joke, it sounds like you're dead serious about it!"
The dog paused as he looked out thoughtfully with an upturned brow, as though he were considering, "...Hmm. If I were 'serious'?"
Vincent frowned, giving Aeth a shocked look. The dog caught the expression and laughed again. "You're too easy, Vincent."
Aidan stared at the two as they walked, wondering to himself how Vinnie could be so comfortable with Aeth. Didn't he see the glint in those yellow eyes? It was completely intimidating! Aidan couldn't even form three words whenever Aeth looked at him in fear that the dog might decide to kill him. His thoughts stopped as Vincent shoved him a bit.
"Sorry. You didn't seem like you were thinking about something good." Vincent explained. Aidan rubbed the back of his head uneasily as he realized they arrived at the inn.
"Well...uh..." he stuttered, trying to avert confessing his real thoughts, "...Just that I was thinking how Voltrick is..."
Aidan winced suddenly as Vincent stopped, staring at the inn with a troubled look.
"...Oh..." _________________ @ Blotch I keep the wolf from the door, but he calls me up Calls me on the phone, tells me all the ways that he's gonna mess me up |

| Inside the inn, Voltrick took hastened steps down the stairs. He hadn't left the inn all night, in fear of Vincent coming back and he not being there. But now night has past and morning came and Vincent hasn't come back, nor has Aidan for that matter, and Voltrick wanted to find them.
"You cant go into town." Gordan quickly spoke, following Voltrick quickly. "You've made a name for yourself, someone in the town may recognize you!"
Voltrick growled and continued down the stairs. "Vincent and Aidan have been gone all night. If something happened to them, I'm going to find them." He finished, meeting the bottom of the stairs and continuing his pace toward the door.
"They stayed in town! Just because they're gone one night, doesn't mean anything happened."
Voltrick stopped at the bottom of the stairs and looked back up to Gordan with a sneer. "Or Vincent left and took Aidan with him. Or Vincent left and something happened to Aidan."
"Why would Vincent leave? I know he was angry, but he said he'd be back.."
"He has every reason to leave!" Voltrick retorted and turned to walk toward the front of the inn. "I proved that last night, by allowing myself to prove what I really am to him." he growled and moved a hand forward toward the door.
Gordan snarled and hurried his pace to grab onto Voltrick's vest, stopping Voltrick from opening the door. "That's what this is all about, isn't it? You think you're a disappointment and a failure to him and you'll do anything to gain his respect again."
Voltrick snarled and turned back to Gordan. "You have no idea what my reasoning is. He is everything to me!" he quickly said and pointed to himself. "I looked up to him more than anyone else, to have him despise me for what I've done is the worst punishment this world could ever give. If HE cant forgive me, then nothing else matters"
Gordan released Voltrick's vest and shook his head with a hardened face. "Aren't I enough? I know he was like a father to you, but I'm your son! I've learned to look past everything you've done, why do you need his approval now? What if he never even came back?"
The older tiger's snarl never left as he kept his gaze on Gordan, his features hardening before turning back toward the door. "He IS back, there's no changing that fact. And if I dont have his respect, I'm nothing."
"When will you get it through your thick skull?! You're not nothing, even HE tried to tell you that last night. Everyone needs respect, but don't push others aside when you try to gain it from someone else." Gordan pleaded, stepping up behind Voltrick.
Voltrick's ears folded back tightly, closing his eyes with a lowered brow. A short moment passed before Voltrick forced the door open aggressively and quickly left the inn, charging down the steps. |

| "I wonder if they're still he--Oof!!" Vincent grunted as he ran into Voltrick. He had his head turned back to Aidan at the time. Then out of nowhere, it felt like he ran into a wall, falling onto his rear from the first step as he shook his head on the ground.
"Ow...What--?!" Vincent looked up, spotting Voltrick on the second step staring down at him.
"Voltrick? What are you doing?" he asked, slowly picking himself up. Seeing the hastened look on Voltrick when he came out, Aidan began to worry.
"Oh no! Did something happen?!" Aidan asked, looking around frantically. Maybe something happened close by. _________________ @ Blotch I keep the wolf from the door, but he calls me up Calls me on the phone, tells me all the ways that he's gonna mess me up |

| Voltrick's eyes widened as he ran into Vincent, a shocked look on his face as if he just knocked down a priceless antique. After Vinnie's question, Voltrick's brow lowered frustratedly and quickly looked to Aidan as worried rushed his own question. "No.. no.." He fumbled for words, still regaining himself from knocking Vincent over. "You both were gone all night, I was going out to look for you." His voice calmed as he finished, looking to both Vincent and Aidan awkwardly with an arched brow. |

| Aeth noticed that distressed look on Voltrick after running into Vincent, lowering a thoughtful brow as he simply made a note of it. Without a word, he turned with his horse, leading it to the stables in the back. The other two didn't seem to notice.
"Oh. Sorry, then. We got caught up in...things." Vincent said vaguely, glancing away as he patted dirt from his pants. Aidan became a little worried at that, wondering if Vincent was going to hint about their little ordeal last night. At least he might if Voltrick bothered him to know. He looked up past Voltrick and noticed Gordan in the doorway. Aidan smiled a little, holding up a hand in greeting. _________________ @ Blotch I keep the wolf from the door, but he calls me up Calls me on the phone, tells me all the ways that he's gonna mess me up |

| Movement past Vincent and Aidan quickly caught Voltrick's eye and raised it to Aeth, who was leading his horse casually around the inn. Not recognizing the dog, Voltrick's gaze followed the dog with an ear twitching.
Gordan had been watching everyone from the doorway, leaning against the door frame. After Aidan waved, a smile was given along with a short wave to complete the greeting.
"What were you doing?" Voltrick asked through his usual raspy tone and looked back to Vincent. |

| Vincent moved a hand behind Aidan's back, giving him a gentle push towards the inn. The cat understood and quickly went up past Voltrick and into the inn, trying his best to appear calm. He gave a brief gaze to Gordan before heading towards the kitchen for food.
After Aidan left, Vincent placed his thumbs on his belt as he stood there. "Went to a pub with Aidan." he paused as his eyes trailed away. "I know about Debalora and Antonis..." Vincent finished quietly. _________________ @ Blotch I keep the wolf from the door, but he calls me up Calls me on the phone, tells me all the ways that he's gonna mess me up |

| Gordan shifted out of the doorway to allow Aidan to pass. After giving Voltrick and Vincent a glance, he turned and followed Aidan inside.
Voltrick's brow lowered frustratedly, looking away toward the direction the dog went with a narrowed gaze. "I'm sorry." Voltrick really couldn't say anything else. He could tell by the way he acted along with Aidan that he was beyond upset, what could he say that would even be remotely comforting? |

| A hand waved in the air as Vincent gave a little laugh. It was all he could to keep from wincing to himself after. That sounded pathetic.
"It's fine..." Vincent paused as he glanced away, thinking to himself. A few seconds past comfort he said, "Look. I'm sorry about yesterday. I shouldn't have yelled at you like that." After Aidan's story last night, Vincent had gotten a clearer picture of what's happened to Voltrick...and he felt awful after shouting at him. But he couldn't let him know Aidan had talked about it. It might even offend him.
"Everything was just sudden." _________________ @ Blotch I keep the wolf from the door, but he calls me up Calls me on the phone, tells me all the ways that he's gonna mess me up |

| Voltrick's eyes widened slightly as both ears folded back. Vincent was.. sorry? After yelling at him and storming out, he's.. sorry for yelling at Voltrick? Vincent was raging mad, leaving Voltrick in the pits of despair and now he's fine with it? What happened last night?! "Just like that? ...You were enraged yesterday because of what I've done.... Now, you're sorry? ...What happened between you and Aidan?" That had to be the only reason. Aidan must have talked to him or calmed him down or something... After all of that, Voltrick hardly believed any man would be sorry about yelling at him. |

| Vincent squinted his eyes as Voltrick questioned him, letting his gaze settle on the larger man. "That doesn't concern you. I said I was sorry, alright?" he said in a rather harsher tone, becoming irritated. _________________ @ Blotch I keep the wolf from the door, but he calls me up Calls me on the phone, tells me all the ways that he's gonna mess me up |

| Voltrick's stomach tensed up when Vincent snapped at him and lowered his brow. So... Vincent wasn't 'okay' with it. He's only covering up how he really feels about everything. Voltrick wouldn't argue with him about it. Not only because he knew what Vinnie was going through right now, but because Voltrick never left that child like submission from someone he looked up to as a parent. Either way, Voltrick ended it there.
"Fine." Voltrick said in a lower tone. After giving Vinnie an uncomfortable glance, Voltrick turned to walk inside. He knew it looked bad to walk away as he was, but it was awkward enough to be talking to Vincent in any way after what happened the day before. |

| Vincent let out a small 'hmph' as Voltrick turned away to the inn. Voltrick has changed even more so than when he returned years ago to the mansion. He used to be a humble and kind boy who wouldn't have hurt anything. Now it seems as though he'll snap at any second if he doesn't hear something he likes.
After a few moment, Aeth turned the corner quietly, eyelids lowered halfway as he casually adjusted his jacket cuff. He saw Vincent still standing, though alone, and joined him.
Vincent glanced to Aeth and then back, deep in his thoughts.
"I suppose you would want to go in now, wouldn't you?" Aeth hinted nonchalantly, taking time to examine his nails. Vincent sighed.
"I guess..."
"Is your wife in there?"
Vincent's expression changed.
"...I see."
"We should go in...At least to introduce you."
"Hah! Don't expect me to be sociable." Aeth smirked before he walked ahead followed by Vincent into the inn. _________________ @ Blotch I keep the wolf from the door, but he calls me up Calls me on the phone, tells me all the ways that he's gonna mess me up |

| Inside the inn, Voltrick was frustratedly silent as he started picking up the broken wood pieces from the chair he had thrown the night before. He placed the broken pieces in a pile beside the staircase, but was taking his time as irritated thoughts drifted through his mind.
Gordan and Aidan were in the kitchen at the table, eating the morning's breakfast that Debalora had prepared earlier.
Gordan wanted to ask Aidan what had happened the night before, but it best to stay quiet and only eat. By the looks of Aidan's hair, Gordan assumed it was a rough night and he didn't want to be rude and ask out of place. Besides, it felt awkward with Voltrick in the other room, who was increasingly stressed out. |

| Aeth came inside and immediately looked to his left where he saw Voltrick's back to him, putting down some broken pieces of wood. A brow rose inquisitively for a moment before his head turned as Vincent came in, who looked at the wreckage as well.
"Something break?" he asked innocently.
Aidan heard the other two come inside, his ear twitching as his concentration on eating only increased. Especially with Gordan tossing him glances. Everyone would be curious about last night. Vincent already told Voltrick they went out drinking, but it was strange he didn't come back to sleep here. Aidan chewed a piece of bread as he tried figuring some sort of explanation. _________________ @ Blotch I keep the wolf from the door, but he calls me up Calls me on the phone, tells me all the ways that he's gonna mess me up |
