| The banging against the door became more violent until it began to crack with someone's weapon breaking through. The aggressive yells of the soldiers continued with each strike against the weakening door.
Voltrick gave a sharp growl before looking back to Jynx with a snarl. "Fine. I'll find him myself." He growled before looking back toward the window, the dim imprints of the rain against the window reflected upon his face.
Another crash was made against the door, this time the center of the door caved into the room and the sword of one of the soldiers broke though the door. Aggressive shouts from the soldiers behind the door suddenly grew louder as more of the door was broken open.
Voltrick suddenly looked toward the door. Seeing the soldiers begin to break through, the tiger quickly released his hold on Jynx and spun around to run towards the large window of the room.
"Crossbows!! Don't let him escape!" The canine soldier shouted as three bowmen aimed their crossbows through the large opening in the door and fired toward Voltrick.
The tiger crashed forward through the window, avoiding the arrows completely, and fell towards the ground.
The door was quickly broken completely and allowed the soldiers to enter the room. The soldiers at the front automatically ran to the window; expecting to see a dead tiger upon the ground. "This is the fourth story, there's no way he would have survived a fall from this high..."
The canine soldier rushed into the room after the others did, but instead of running towards the window he ran to Jynx in case she needed aide. "Lady Jynx." He addressed as he approached her quickly. "Are you alright, did he hurt you?"
"Where is he?!" An angered soldier shouted as he looked down out of the broken window. " He should have landed right there." he added as he pointed toward the ground.
The rain poured heavily through the window, the hard winds pushing the heavy droplets against the soldiers' faces. Voltrick was no where to be seen, only the buildings surrounding the area and the pouring rain.
Another flash of light filled the sky, its deafening thunder echoing against the walls. Using the lightening, Voltrick charged toward the building. Once close enough, he leaped forward and crashed through the window on the first floor.
"He just jumped back in, Mundegard's on the first floor!" One of the soldiers at the window called out before signalling the rest of the soldiers to run with him towards the room door. |

| "Well go after him, you imbeciles!" Jynx shouted after rubbing her neck from where Voltrick had held her. She disregarded the soldiers question as she glared fiercely at the soldiers. Took them long enough to figure out she had been taken. Brainless things...
Taking to the assassin's instruction, the soldiers promptly filed out the door in pursuit, filled with the sense of the hunt than their previous fear to capture or kill the beast once and for all. _________________ @ Blotch I keep the wolf from the door, but he calls me up Calls me on the phone, tells me all the ways that he's gonna mess me up |

| The room Voltrick crashed into from the window was illuminated by candles and a fireplace far to his right. Two soldiers were in the room. Shocked expressions were on thier face before unsheathing their swords defensively. "He was supposed to be on the fifth floor!" A soldier yelled in panic.
Voltrick had to move quickly. He knew this floor had to have the most soldiers and the soldiers back up from the fourth floor were definitely coming down fast. He couldn't let the soldiers stop him, he had to get to Fyren. It was the only thing that mattered!
As the two soldiers yelled and charged forward, Voltrick quickly pounced forward. But instead of pouncing toward a soldier, he made sure just to avoid the soldier to his right. The pounce threw the soldier off and allowed Voltrick to quickly turn; wrapping his arm around the back of the soldier's neck. After continually turning, pulling the soldier's head down and around, Voltrick threw the soldier toward the second man running towards them.
He could have easily stayed to finish the two of them, but Voltrick rushed through the door. The tiger panted lightly as he stood outside the door and quickly surveyed the area before turning and running towards the closest hallway.
Several soldiers were standing at the building's front door with more scattered around the area, an area Voltrick was quick to avoid. There weren't any servants on the first floor, from what Voltrick quickly saw as he ran down the hall, most likely hid or evacuated to allow the soldiers to find the intruder.
Voltrick knew there weren't any rooms on the first floor, not for anyone of importance anyways. Servants and soldiers had their rooms, but if it was someone as important as Fyren, Voltrick was sure it had to be the second or third floor. Since that was the case, Voltrick had to get to the stairs without being stopped.
Keeping to the wall, Voltrick hurried down the wide hallway. He heard shouts and voices all around him. From within the closed doors he past and behind him towards the front door. In front of him, the hallway split. He knew all to well that turning right led to the dungeon, but voices were heard to the left. Voltrick growled quietly as he grit his teeth and ran around the corner.
Three soldiers were patrolling the hall when Voltrick turned down the left hall. Surprised by Voltrick being right in front of them and charging towards them, they briefly froze in place before shouting and running towards the charging tiger.
All three drew their swords and slowed their pace to be able to fight him off, but to much of their dismay, Voltrick didn’t slow down and rammed his shoulder into the soldier in the middle. The cat soldier’s back slammed into the ground with Voltrick on top of him. Quickly rolling off of the soldier as another swung his sword down, Voltrick moved quickly enough to allow the descending sword to slash against the feline’s chest. The soldier’s pained screams allowed enough distraction for Voltrick to raise himself up and ball his fist.
The balled fist quickly hit the side of bewildered solder’s face before Voltrick’s clawed hand slashed at his back. The third soldier’s sword was swung, barely avoiding Voltrick’s neck as he pulled back slightly. When the sword was swung back, the tiger’s arm suddenly stopped the blade to allow his hand to wrap around the soldiers wrist.
Everything stopped momentarily as both Voltrick and the soldier looked at Voltrick’s arm, which had just stopped the blade’s edge. The blade appeared to have embedded itself along the tiger’s arm and allowed blood to drip down the blade and onto the sword wielder’s hand. A shocked expression was on the soldier’s face, but Voltrick’s quickly changed to rage.
After a sharp growl, Voltrick used his fisted free hand to suddenly punch toward the soldier’s face. Without stopping, Voltrick tightened his grip around the soldier’s wrist and forced the swordsmen’s own sword to stab himself in the abdomen.
Voltrick didn’t even have the time to watch the dying body fall to the floor before he heard voices just behind him. More soldiers most likely heard pained cries and headed into this direction. He grit his teeth, dropped the sword, and ran as fast as he could toward the staircase at the end of the hall. Luckily, there weren’t any soldiers at this stair case and Voltrick continued his way up to the second floor.
On his way up, Voltrick's pace suddenly slowed as a particular scent reached his nose. ...Voltrick quickly growled before charging up the stairs at a more hurried pace. Fyren was on this floor. He had to have been. It was faint, but that only meant he was locked up in some room. Too bad voltrick also smelt and heard a lot more soldiers on this floor. |

| On the second floor, six soldiers guarded a set of large double doors. There had been other quarters on the same floor, but the soldiers were specifically assigned to this room. Though, they weren't all the same species or breed, they were all armed with swords and adorned in Ministry armor.
The rest of the floor had been evacuated to the first floor out out of the building completely. They couldn't take any chances, no one on this floor was told who was attacking or how many. The soldiers only knew they had to protect this room and the important indivdual inside. It was comforting to know that an entire squad of soldiers resided inside the room, but every soldier knew they had to be cautious and alert.
"The Mundegard beast is on the first floor!" A voice shouted at the end of the hall that led to the stairs up to the third level. The soldiers all turned to see another group running down the stairs and into their direcition.
One soldier at the double doors in particular stepped forward as they approached. "The beast?!" the feline questioned, briefly looking back to the increasingly tense soldiers at the door. "How did he manage to break in and how did he get to the first floor from the fifth?!"
The lead soldier quickly ran up to the feline, but before responding to his questions he motioned toward the men who ran behind him. "Get to the first floor and stop him, warn everyone along the way!" After the soldiers ran past, the soldier turned back to the feline and the remaining soldiers at the doors. "We dont know how he got in, but he dropped to the ground from the flourth floor window. We saw him break in through a window on the first floor so we're going after him. You six will remain here in case he gets past us." He explained as quickly as he could before attempted to run after the other soldiers.
"You couldn't stop him, how are we supposed to...!" The feline called out before being quickly silenced by violent crashes down the hall. Crashes that were soon followed by cries and shouts of pain as something tore through them.
The echoing shouts and crashes suddenly became silent as the soldiers at the double doors listened in horror. The shadows of the hall blanketed everything from sight, but they knew something just attacked the soldiers and took them down in a matter of moments. Every one of them knew what and who it was and to their dismay, a large beast finally walked into the light.
With a vicious snarl and a rumbling growl, Voltrick glared toward the soldiers guarding the double doors in front of the sitting room before him. He knew Fyren was behind those doors and those soldiers were protecting him. They weren’t protecting him, they were merely in Voltrick’s way.
There was a small table to Voltrick’s right as the beast walked forward. It appeared to be some sort of casual table for tea or reading. As Voltrick came closer to the soldiers, he quickly gripped the table and threw it towards the soldiers with an infuriated roar. Most of the soldiers narrowly avoided the thrown furniture, which crashed against the wall next to the double doors.
Voltrick charged forward the soldiers as they attempted to scramble to their feet because of the thrown table. A deafening roar was quickly released before pouncing toward two swordsmen. Without stopping, he used his talons and fangs to tear apart the two soldiers before quickly moving around to slash the soldiers who tried to attack him.
From within the room, two lines of soldiers nervously watched the doors; unsteadily glancing towards each other.
Yells and roars from the door increased quickly increased as the guards just outside the door were killed mercilessly. Echoes of growls and crashes coursed through the large room until a desperate soldier banged on the double doors desperately.
“Open the doors! Please!” The soldiers heard before something crashed against the door loudly; silencing the soldier outside.
The soldiers within the room nervously looked to each other as everything went silent. Moments were drawn out endlessly before the beast roared out suddenly.

| Fyren stood at to the very back of the crowded room, hands held behind his back and a quiet gaze set on the door. He ignored the soldiers as they heard the roar of the beast getting closer and closer to them. After his name was cried out, Fyren's eyes slit.
This all seemed like something he had wanted at a point. Voltrick coming towards him, a trap set, captured, beaten tirelessly...but Fyren couldn't help a feeling of disappointment. There was no thought to it. This had happened every time when it included Voltrick. The boy couldn't keep himself from bounding in with no sense of strategy. It really was disappointing...
A small sigh escaped as Fyren glanced to the side as these thoughts passed through his head, hearing now the doors slammed upon by something heavy, creaks in the wood hinting they were about to burst apart. _________________ @ Blotch I keep the wolf from the door, but he calls me up Calls me on the phone, tells me all the ways that he's gonna mess me up |

| Voltrick panted heavily as he stepped away from the double doors. Bloodied, torn bodies of the soldiers guarding the doors surrounded him. As his breaths began to calm, the beast looked around himself and at the soldiers he just massacred. Saddened brows raised as he turned his head shamefully.
Voltrick killed them. He didn't want this, he was only proving everyone's point about what they say he is. A monster. Voltrick didn't come here to kill all of these soldiers. They didn't have to die... Voltrick came for Fyren. Fyren was the only one who needed to pay for everything that had happened, not the soldiers foolishly protecting him.
With a low growl, Voltrick looked back to the door with a snarl. "None of these soldiers had to die, Fyren! They died protecting you, the REAL monster!" He shouted as he quickly looked around the sitting area, briefly spotting a circle of seats surrounding a grand piano. "You're the reason everything has happened and innocent people died! Torturing, betraying, ... and MURDERING! You've even betrayed Murdoc to gain more for yourself! Only you deserve the fate coming to you, Fyren!"
Voltrick paused briefly to turn towards the group of chairs and walked towards them. "Every soldier within that room, every soldier protecting Fyren has a chance to walk away with their lives!. You can either stay and die protecting that MONSTER! ...Or you can leave while you still have the chance!" He stopped to grip his talons into the edges of the piano. "You have ten seconds!!" _________________ @ Blotch I keep the wolf from the door, but he calls me up Calls me on the phone, tells me all the ways that he's gonna mess me up |

| "ONE!"
----
The soldiers within the room became increasingly nervy; looking to each other as if they were about to consider the beast's offer.
Glances were also made back to Fyren at the back of the room...
-----
"TWO!"
-----
Most of the men didn't know what to think. They knew they had to stay and protect Lord Fyren, but it was strange to hear someone like that beast accuse him of such things. Especially after the mentioned fact of betraying General Convel.
----
"THREE!" The beast continued his countdown in a monstrous roar. All while heavy shuffling was heard and piano keys moving.
----
The soldiers all readied there crossbows, raising the aimed arrow toward the door. Whatever came through, it was their duty to protect Lord Fyren. If a monster wanted to break through those double doors, he'd be met with two rows of soldiers and a wind of fired arrows.
-----
"TEN!"
------
The soldiers tensed up suddenly, Voltrick cut his countdown short! Suddenly, the double doors crashed open. Splinters and broken pieces of the wooden door blew outward as something massive was forced through the door.
The grand piano from the sitting room crashed loudly in chaotic, deafening melody, its strings and keys ringing as the instrument crashed and slid against the floor. Shards and wood flew violently across the room. Several soldiers closest to the piano were forced to jump aside, others were knocked out of the way by it.
Giving only moments to allow the piano to give the soldiers a distraction, Voltrick charged into the room on all fours; roaring infuriatedly. It didn't matter if the soldiers tried to attack him, the beast had to get to Fyren. He's the only one of them that mattered.
Dazed soldiers around the room quickly became alert when Voltrick's roar was heard over the crashed piano and scrambled to their feet to aim their crossbows toward the charging monster.
Fyren was right there, Voltrick saw him clearly at the back of the room. Another roar erupted as he lept over the destroyed grand piano, landing upon his hind legs to continue his charge.
"Bring him down!" A soldier was heard shouting beside Voltrick. " Dont let him get to Fyren!" Another cried out before several clicks and triggers sounded around him.
Several arrows struck Voltrick's back, jolting pain to his spine. The pain and impact nearly knocked Voltrick forward, but Voltrick only stumbled and continued forward. Moments later, several more arrows embedded themselves into his back and more into his chest from the soldiers who stood just before Fyren.
Growled groans were quickly emitted as Voltrick stumbled forward to a knee. The beast panted heavily and raised an infuriated gaze up toward Fyren again. Voltrick couldn't be stopped. Fyren was right there! Arrows couldn't stop Voltrick before, it wont now! Another roar was released before Voltrick forced himself up with a loud, pained groan.
But before Voltrick could move further, another set of arrows struck his back, several of them striking around his neck and shoulders.
"NO!" Voltrick roared out, barely lifting himself up to crawl foward; pain coursing throughout his entire back and chest. "Fyren!" He shouted again, but was met with another set of arrows to his chest and shoulders. "You cant hide behind your soldiers! Without them, you're nothing!" The beast growled, his features scrunching in pain as his weakened, pained body lowered the side of his face to the ground. |

| The arrows pierced every side of Voltrick whenever the beast made so much as a movement on the ground. Blurred eyes rose as Fyren's boot came into view, trailing up to see the older man kneel over the beast with the faintest smile.
"...you..." Voltrick growled lowly, claws digging into the floor in hopes Fyren would appear under them.
"I wasn't the one hiding, Voltrick..." Fyren said in a quiet voice only Voltrick could hear, "I wonder...what the real reason was that caused you to charge in here. The mouse..." Fyren paused, smirking slowly as he glanced up to the soldiers that began to surround the monster. "Or your new little...friend." _________________ @ Blotch I keep the wolf from the door, but he calls me up Calls me on the phone, tells me all the ways that he's gonna mess me up |

| Voltrick's entire form tensed up suddenly as the beast attempted to push himself up. Unable to, Voltrick growled and clawed at the ground infuriatingly. "Don't you DARE even mention either one of them, you spineless, disgusting BASTARD!" His claws dug into the ground. "I'll tear you apart!" He ended in a growl, but tightened his features and grit his teeth as more pain jolted through him from the arrows pierced within him. |

| Fyren let out a thoughtful grunt as he rose to a stand, looking over the fallen tiger. After a moment, his gaze lifted to the soldiers who began to surround Voltrick with crossbows ready.
"Throw him in the dungeon where he belongs. He's caused enough trouble as it is." Fyren sneered as he turned his back, a final look towards Voltrick given before he tread off with two soldiers accompanying him on either side towards the exit. _________________ @ Blotch I keep the wolf from the door, but he calls me up Calls me on the phone, tells me all the ways that he's gonna mess me up |

| The beast's black eyes widened suddenly after the order to send him to the dungeon. His entire body tensed up to the thought of being sent to the one place that tortured him endlessly, neverending pain and torment that forced him to abandon all hope... They forced him to hate everyone he cared about and made him believe he was supposed to be a monster... and bring Aidan to this place.
Voltrick would rather die than be forced into that life again, he couldn't be that way.. not after fighting so hard to get better! The beast began to struggle against the pain again. "NO! You cant throw me in there!" The beast roared out. "Why dont you just kill me now, Fyren?! I'm right here! You've always wanted me dead since your brother...!"
A heavy chain ended Voltrick's sentence short as it was quickly wrapped under his jaw. The beast continued to struggle, but the chain only tightened further.
"Releas..." Voltrick choked. "You cant...!" |

| Fyren paused momentarily to tilt his head back, a slender eye gazing over his shoulder to the struggling beast on the floor as soldiers surrounded him with chains. He had heard the beast's words, having caused him to frown in thought.
The older man turned, continuing his walk out with his company.
Voltrick's hell wouldn't begin without an overdue...talk. _________________ @ Blotch I keep the wolf from the door, but he calls me up Calls me on the phone, tells me all the ways that he's gonna mess me up |

| Rage filled Voltrick as he watched Fyren only turn and walk away. That's it?! After all of what happened and everything said, he says nothing?! The beast's struggles quickly grew again as Voltrick growled loudly.
An impatient soldier, after watching Voltrick too long for him to handle, quickly made his way towards the struggling beast. Along the way, he grabbed one of the piano's legs that had broken off.
Without giving a second though, the soldier quickly approached the monster and whacked Voltrick's head, instantly knocking him unconscious. |
