Day has come and it was time to decide what to do. How would they save Aidan and who is to go, it has to be decided before time runs out for Aidan.

Setting: Tavern/Inn
Who's in the room: Antonis, Debalora, Draco, Tamil, Denzel
Time: The morning after Denzel returned and Draco reported Aidan had been taken.

Outside:

The inn could be overlooked on a hill just where Murdoc and Fyren arrived. Near it was a little village, no more than 50 people could have lived there. They would have never known of this town if it weren't for Aidan's memories.

"They were so near..." Murdoc commented as though he were astonished.

"Apparently. So, shall we go then?" Fyren took the reins of his horse, motioning him towards the road again.

"Wait." Fyren stopped, looking back to Murdoc curiously. Murdoc motioned his horse to the road, passing Fyren. "I'll go there alone. I want you to go back to the Ministry."

Fyren watched Murdoc with his curiosity rising but soon thought better than to ask why.

"As you wish." the cat replied and turned around, beginning his own trek back. Making sure Fyren left did Murdoc continue down the hill to arrive at the inn.


Inside the Inn:

Antonis walked from his room with an empty gaze. He had barely gotten any sleep; only able to shut his eyes just as the birds were beginning to sing. He noticed it was a bit later in the day and guessed the others were in the dining area of the inn. The whole group practically kept the residence to themselves seeing as the town was so small. The landlord did well to keep away as much as he could, recognizing Antonis from his army days. Arriving in the dining hall, he found Denzel and Tamil talking to each other. Antonis could see from Tamil's expression he was still sore about Denzel and the argument last night. As he came closer, he could hear Denzel speaking.

"Say we really do attack the Ministry head on, then what? They have an entire army against us few. Basically suicide, Tamil. But it's no different than staying here, letting time pass away with nothing done. Time is equally as important. Ah, Antonis!" Denzel called, catching Antonis by the corner of his eye. "We were just discussing our little...dilemma."

Antonis managed a little smirk, "Conversation as in you talking, right Tamil?" he joked, glancing at Tamil in hopes that would cheer the soldier up.

Antonis was right to assume how Tamil felt at the moment. And with Denzel trying to take over the conversation by being the only one talking, Tamil wasn't the least bit amused. But for the moment, Tamil just let Denzel speak. If he had to, he'd let whatever Denzel said and let it just be said. You can call it 'toning him out' but still listening.
Tamil quickly arched an eyebrow as Denzel addressed Antonis, somewhat releaved that Denzel wasn't throwing his words at him anymore. At least for the time being. With Antonis' comment, Tamil couldn't help a smirk with both eyebrows lowered.

"Exactly." he said, turning back to Denzel.

Debalora and Draco were on the opposite side of the room, discussing their own versions of how the situation should be approached. Overall, both weren't pleased with each other's comments or answers.

"....The consequences would be too great. I wont allow the chance for another w.." Draco stopped as he heard Antonis' voice near the door and turned towards him and the others. "Antonis." He said in a greetful manner with his head slightly bowed and raised.

Debalora was quick to turn as well. A hardened gaze was first seen, but quickly softened upon seeing Antonis.

Antonis' little smirk disappeared as he caught the last of Draco's talk. There was a strange feeling he had that moment, as if things were getting done without him. With Denzel talking, it was one thing, but with Draco? He walked past Tamil and Denzel to the other two.

"Beginning the grand debate already?" he asked, turning his eyes to Debalora.

Debalora's chin raised before she spoke; trying to stand a bit taller now that things were getting more serious with Antonis here. "You can say that. The sooner we discuss it, the sooner we can act." Her head lowered slightly and raised again. "I'm sorry I didn't wait for you to get here, Antonis."

Grunting as a response, Antonis remained standing as he surveyed the two of them. He could feel that the oncoming conversation was to be a long one.

"No matter...What were yo--"

The doors of the inn opened suddenly. Antonis silenced himself immediately as he turned his head to look towards the newcomer. What he saw simply amazed him. It was Murdoc Convel standing in the entry-way with a serious expression.

Murdoc closed the door behind him as he caught sight of Antonis, taking likeness of shock to find him there momentarily, just after he began to walk towards the General.

Antonis turned suddenly, walking up to Murdoc as well before the others, as though he would defend them alone from this wolf. "I knew you would send assassins. I didn't know you intentioned to finish the job yourself." Antonis sneered as he came to a halt. Murdoc did likewise, coming to stand just a few feet from Antonis.

"Think as you will, but I am not here for that."

Everyone had about the same response as the other, stopping what they were doing and quickly turning to see who abruptly entered. Thus bringing the silent, surprised look toward Murdoc.

Tamil's response was a bit more than staring and waiting to see what Antonis would do. The chair in which he sat could have been thrown out of the way as he stood up immediately; drawing his sword. A low growl rumbled within his throat as he moved the point of his sword to follow Murdoc.

Antonis did nothing to interfere with Tamil's actions, keeping his hard glare on Murdoc. "Then what are you here for?"

The wolf frowned as he glanced to the others. The tension of the moment was quite unbearable. Perhaps mentioning something that would ease them was the better decision. He mustn't forget...he was here for Aidan...not to provoke them.

"It's about Aidan..." he said in a lower tone as he looked back to Antonis. The general tensed to hear his friend's name mentioned so soon. With the timing of it, he considered the worst. Murdoc picked up on this quickly, "He's fine now. Getting over a chill, but fine." Antonis seemed relieved by this elaboration for the moment before he minded himself to survey Murdoc. The wolf did not have so much as a sword on him, let alone the proper gear for travel. Whatever it was, Murdoc left in a hurry.

The mention of Aidan's name set more fuel to the fire with Tamil. He jerked forward and grit his teeth with a snarl. Not yet touching him, but showing enough threat to Murdoc. If he has harmed him, in any way... Getting over a chill? "You're obviously not here for pleasant conversation." he growled out. "Tell us where Aidan is!"

Gordan stood beside the doorway with his back against the wall; listening to what was happening with this 'guest' who barged in. If he didn't hear Tamil's chair crash back, he would have been in his room still. For a while, he remained still as they spoke; curious to who the wolf was and what he wanted.

Then his name was mentioned. Murdoc. Gordan's entire body tensed to the fact, but listened.

Brandon walked down the hall when Gordan left rubbing an eye tiredly. Seeing Gordan against a wall, he could only assume Gordan was listening on something. "What's going on?" He said faintly, making sure his voice just passed a whisper. Brandon asked, but took it upon himself to check. He leaned just past Gordan to look in the dining hall. He saw Tamil pointing a sword to an unknown wolf with Antonis just before him. Denzel, Draco and his mother were still sitting. What was going on?

"He's at the Ministry." Murdoc said with a frown to Tamil, recalling his stubbornness. "But his safety is why I've come here." he finished, looking at Antonis sternly. The general wrinkled a brow as he caught this little foreshadow. He remained silent.

Murdoc took this as leeway to continue, "It's become a complicated matter. You recall Mistress O'luca Viglione's departure two years ago? She's to return suddenly by the week's end..."

Antonis could be seen to have realized something.

Murdoc kept the matter vague enough for only Antonis to really understand. It was embarrassing enough that he was here because of it.

Denzel stood from his chair, positioning his spectacles on his maw correctly as though he had tired of waiting to speak, "Well the little fact about the Mistress is certainly welcome, but I don't see how it affects Aidan. Her return only means more difficulty for us."

Tamil remained silent, but kept his sword angled toward Murdoc. O'luca is returning? He honestly didn't know why she was gone. He was either not told, or he was too busy to ask. But regardless, her return would only mean more trouble.... enough trouble for Murdoc to actually come to Antonis.

Debalora's ears perked up at the mention of O'luca. She knew who she was, her position, everything about her that Vincent had mentioned in the past. Even the fact that they resemble one another, which disturbed her a bit in the past when he spoke about it. But the matter now is that O'luca has something to do with Aidan. Which meant he was in trouble.

Draco's reaction to O'luca was a bit more negative. Lowering his head with a hard gaze to the floor. He too knew O'luca all too well. Especially her methods with authority.

Gordan's head remained angled toward the door as he continued to listen; a more angered gaze appeared on his features after Brandon had asked what was going on. "Murdoc." he said lowly. "He's come to ask for Antonis' help." The fact that he was obviously asking for help, wasn't what Gordan had been concerned about. It was the fact that he's here. And the moment his name was mentioned, Voltrick quickly came to his mind.

Brandon went to the opposite side of the door and stood just as Gordan did and listened.

Murdoc hesitated to answer, but if he wanted their trust, he had to abide by their need of information. "As you know, Mowinckel, she is a very forceful woman. Let alone selfish..."

"I recall she was "forceful" with you." Antonis put in. Heat rose to Murdoc's face immediately as he clutched his fists with a snarl. "Watch your mouth!" he shouted scornfully.

Tamil reacted and jerked forward again. This time pressing the tip of the blade against Murdoc's shoulder to threaten him. "And you watch yours!" he shouted and growled; his snarl growing.

Debalora and Draco remained silent on their part of the room. Every once in awhile, they'd glance toward one another. But they remained silent and listened and would only interfere if needed. Murdoc wasn't here to fight, but if he tries anything, he wouldn't be the smartest man in the world.

Gordan grew more tense as more shouting erupted from the room. His teeth grit with a snarl as he thought more and more about Murdoc being there... and what he's doing, what he's done.

Finding the prodding of the sword to his shoulder irritating, Murdoc put his palm to it and nudged it away. "I'll have enough of your provokes, Tamil! If you want to see Aidan again, I suggest you calm down!'

Antonis found a threat in that and motioned a hand to keep Tamil backed away. "You have more nerve coming here, and you expect us not to react this way?"

Murdoc puffed his chest in sitting anger as he turned to look at the others in the room for the first time. His gaze came to Debalora and stayed with her, his angered expression contorting into shock.

"...Who's that?" he asked quietly, the resemblance to the Mistress terrifying.

Tamil growled as he pulled away, but kept the sword angled toward Murdoc. He would have had a retaliating response if Antonis hadn't motioned him back.

Debalora quickly realized Murdoc was looking at her and arched a brow. Then he questioned who she was. After all of this time, she thought he knew who she was. Considering who she was married to, and the fact that he tried to get Brandon. But whatever happened, she remained silent. Only folding her arms once the attention was all on her.
