Voltrick's features scrunched up frustratedly as Antonis approached with Murdoc. It was almost too awkward for him to be so close to him. He knew it was tense for Antonis as well. For the longest time, Voltrick felt nothing but hate for him. He's tried to kill him numerous times, yet now Voltrick stands before him. Helping him. 'helping'. Another thing he 'didn't' do for the longest time.

Voltrick bent over slightly to take Murdoc. It strained his neck a bit, but it wasn't troublesome. Once he held him, a stern gaze lowered silently. What was Voltrick going to do now? He's done all this, and now he's fallen back to these people. He guessed he'd be sent away after they got Murdoc and Aidan to the inn. Which was understandable. He didn't belong anyway, plus there was too much tension between him and Antonis to even think about staying. Probably more so on Antonis' part now. After him and Murdoc saved his life, he couldn't hold such a harsh grudge. He felt guilty enough and somewhat ashamed. They didn't need to save him, no one should.

But they did anyway...

---

Debalora gave a faint smile as her right hand lowered from the top of Aidan's head and gently rubbed down the side of Aidan's face. Good, he was waking up. He was better off after all. Debalora turned her head back to Antonis and Voltrick. Murdoc now rested in Voltrick's arms. He was injured badly. Not many people can survive wounds like that. A fever was bound to heat up if left untreated. Even then it still may arise.

She could always heal him as well... Debalora's gaze narrowed slightly and lowered. It would be easy. The effort would leave her weakened, but she'd recover like any other time. A silent sigh escaped as she turned away. He's done too much to deserve it. ..Yet, the person he tortured for all that time held him in his arms to help him. Should Murdoc really suffer because Debalora couldn't bring herself to shy away from her own selfish hatred towards him?

The thought made her cringe, and feel even worse than before Voltrick reappeared.

----

Draco's ear twitched as he walked toward the door to look outside. "We can take them back to the inn and make sure you're all treated for your wounds. ...Even you Antonis." He give a short nod. "But.." he glanced to the beast holding Murdoc and back to Antonis. "We'll have to find a way to not be seen."

Ears perking up as Draco spoke, Antonis turned towards Draco after relieving himself of Murdoc. "We can go along the outskirts of the town." Antonis lowered a brow as he reasoned, "It's obvious there are reports of those who saw Voltrick. Have a soldier announce tomorrow that it was a large animal. Let them become superstitious." he finished, turning his head towards Aidan and Debalora.

Seeing her pet along his face, Antonis took a few steps towards them, seeing Aidan in the first stages of awakening. He took that moment to look to the bite against his shoulder, thankfully nowhere vital. "He'll be fine." he said, placing a hand on Debalora's back lightly, "We need to go..."

Voltrick turned his head to watch Antonis walk over toward Debalora and Aidan. His beastly features winced as he watched him talk to her. A short moment passed before he turned toward the door to walk through the doorway. He had to bend down and angle himself to walk out of the smaller doorway, but he exited the barn.

Draco stepped back and out of the way for Voltrick. After watching him suspiciously a bit, he turned to Antonis. The soldier stood next to him; watching out the doorway towards Voltrick. "Help Antonis carry Aidan." Draco said as he glanced from Antonis to Voltrick outside.

The soldier gave a quick nod and walked up to Antonis just behind him.

Debalora watched Aidan with a sad look. He'll be fine. But will we? Voltrick has come back and now Murdoc lies dying in his arms. She could help him, if anything bandage him. The light touch from Antonis against her back was comforting, but concern for what may lie ahead still troubled her. And Antonis was hurt in all this as well. Even after just recuperating from Voltrick's attack. Voltricked tried to kill Antonis, and now he returns to help Aidan, even Murdoc.

A deep breath was taken before she stood. She watched Aidan for a bit before turning around toward Antonis. Without hesitating, Debalora wrapped her arms around Antonis to hug him. She was relieved he was alright... and she was somewhat happier he let Voltrick live.. even help.

Almost nudged back as Debalora embraced him, he gave a surprised look first before his arms wrapped around her as well. He let a wry smile appear, feeling strangely better as Debalora hugged him, but he didn't know why she did. In relief? Perhaps...

Antonis pressed his maw against Debalora's head, letting out a tired sigh before he patted her back, moving himself back. There was still work to do. He offered Debalora a small smile before looking down to Aidan, who groaned lightly as though having a troubling dream.

With the soldier there to help him, Antonis and he began to pick up Aidan with some ease. The cat was quite light. The soldier volunteered to carry Aidan alone and Antonis simply nodded, watching him walk out the barn in a hurried pace.

"Lets go." Antonis mumbled, pressing his hair back with his palm, turning his head towards Debalora a bit waiting for her to follow.

With a short nod, Debalora followed Antonis out of the barn. A quick glance was made to Draco as they passed him, but it was brief as they both exited.

Draco arched a brow after they left, the old dog now alone in the barn. He gazed around the blood splattered are where Antonis first sat, then to where Voltrick was, and finished with where Aidan laid unconscious. A violent battle, indeed. He'll have to get his men and himself to take care of the mess before someone sees this. Burning it down would be the best way to go about it.

With a lowered brow, Draco finally stepped out of the barn to follow the others.
