| "Ugly, yes. They are rather wretched things to handle with. But let's just say I know how to compromise with them." Fyren answered, glancing up to Draco with something of a smile.
"Of course you do, Fyren." O'luca said with a broadened smile, "Unfortunate the general does not see that in you."
Fyren chuckled, waving towards her, "Please don't flatter me, Mistress. I haven't been able to capture one of the more important rebels yet. I even consider it a crime towards you."
To this, O'luca's smile lowered as she squinted an eye, "Ahh, yes." She turned back to Draco, lifting her chin slightly, "A past General has created a lasting rebellion against us. It hurts to see a man of such recognition within the Ministry become such a fiend. Have you heard of General Antonis, sir?" _________________ @ Blotch I keep the wolf from the door, but he calls me up Calls me on the phone, tells me all the ways that he's gonna mess me up |

| Draco's features became serious. "General Antonis?" An eyebrow arched as he appeared to reflect his name. "I believe I heard he was one of your generals. Are you saying 'he' has joined this rebellion, you speak of?"
Honestly, this.. 'pretending' to be ignorant was irritating to Draco. He already found O'luca's motive. And her threat was enough to start her own war. But Draco would see where this went, even if it meant flattery or demeaning himself. Staying in this room and talking to hipocrites was demeaning enough. |

| O'luca's fine features became scowled as she prolonged her thoughts on Antonis, clutching her hands in frustration. "Oh! That treacherous dog! Toying with the Ministry as he did! It's completely upsetting to me."
Fyren placed a hand on top of O'luca's chair, "There, there. He must get tired after running for so long."
"I have a mind to ravish any land he has walked on!"
"If that's the case...I assure you that we will find him..." Fyren smiled calmly as his eyes settled on Draco strangely, as though he saw through the rouse the old dog had been putting up, seeing right past him. As though to say 'I know'. "I believe we'll find him very soon." _________________ @ Blotch I keep the wolf from the door, but he calls me up Calls me on the phone, tells me all the ways that he's gonna mess me up |

| Draco would only give a calm expression directly back to Fyren without showing any anger or surprise. But he did watch him intently
Smith watched O'luca. A frustrated gaze was on his face as he watched her. Ever since she threatened Faholgal, her beauty quickly faded and his interest in her faded as well.
"It appears as if this general and his rebellion has caused more of a stir than your need to control the Sel'kanites. Who, I will say, are not a threat to anyone. But rebellions are. Shouldn't you control what's already under your rule before spreading yourself too thin?" Draco commented |

| "The Ministry's goal comes first." Fyren quickly replied before he lowered his hold on the chair, "But I must ask you to leave with our message to your King. We hope he favors the choice. Now if you'll excuse us, the Mistress and I have business to attend to."
On the other side of the table from where Draco sat, O'luca began composing herself, fluffing her hair with a paw with closed eyes. "Yes.." she said, looking to the General, "Please do give him our regards." _________________ @ Blotch I keep the wolf from the door, but he calls me up Calls me on the phone, tells me all the ways that he's gonna mess me up |

| Draco's ears folded back as he watched the both of them. There's more to this than they're trying reveal. Draco didn't like anything about this whole conversation and Fyren's appearance was enough evidence of that. O'luca speaks of control of magic.. yet she allies someone who uses such power to control others. If she didn't know about his ability, then he's hiding more from her than he is to Draco. And judging by his nature, he'll seek to control her as well.
Draco's lips firmly pressed together as he gave a silent acknowledging nod before he pushed his chair back and stood himself up. He also didn't like the idea of being ushered out after such short discussions. He was sent there to help the king. If he had to decide for him, the king trusted Draco enough to make that decision for him. Being a good friend of the king tends to help with knowing how he thinks.
An eyebrow arched as Dracp raised his chin a bit. "Good luck with your... rebellion problems, my lady. May fate be merciful." A respectful bow was made after giving his farewell. |

| O'luca bowed her head to Draco afterwards, "I pray your journey back is safe, General." she said as the two of them were ushered out, a guard standing at the door to lead them out.
Once they left, Fyren turned to O'luca with a risen brow. "He was very hesitant, wasn't he?"
She laughed, tossing her hair over her shoulder as she began walking towards her throne, "Of course he would be when mentioning the Sel'kanites. As though I would bother with such meager peasants. I am more interested in gaining Faholgalian land." She sat on her throne, crossing her legs as before.
Fyren followed after her, but stood just before the throne, holding his hands behind his back with a smile, "I suspect you've given him warning of that. How kind of you. Insulting enough to be called for such a short meeting. That reminds me. I have some news about General Convel."
O'luca rose a brow as she heard Murdoc's name, sitting up slightly as she looked at Fyren, "Yes? What about him?" she asked with interest. She had not seen the wolf since her arrival. Though that didn't surprise her...they have had a very interesting history, but she still felt for him deeply. "Well? Out with it."
"It pains me to report that he is no longer within the Ministry compounds with no telling where he went, just before your return. Sources believe he's gone to...join the rebellion." Fyren said, glancing down as though he were ashamed of this.
O'luca stood with scorn on her features, glaring at Fyren from this terrible news. "Join the rebellion?! Is this true?!"
"I'm afraid so. But I believe the main reason is because of that boy. I have heard of the history between Convel and him, so I am to believe that is the case."
The Mistress' fists clutched, hearing mention of the boy. Aidan Hart. The only one who stood between Murdoc and herself since their adolescence.
Years before, she had become infatuated with Murdoc, trying to win his heart, but he was more interested in Aidan to care for anyone else. This confused her greatly, used to men crawling after her for affection. After Murdoc had turned her down numerous times, she couldn't handle her jealousy any longer and ordered for Aidan's death secretly. Coincidentally, Antonis had been the one to receive the order and disappeared with Aidan. It was a few years later they learned a rebellion had begun under Antonis' name.
"If Aidan is found alive, then I want him dead." O'luca snapped.
"I'll personally bring him before you for that, Mistress." Fyren answered, keeping a smirk at bay.
"Good. Then I want you to find this rebellion of Antonis' personally as well. I expect to hear a report from you of the status." she said, sitting back down on her throne, each hand grasping the end of her chair arms.
Fyren bowed, "Of course. I will excuse myself."
That said, he turned on his heel and proceeded down the chamber to the doors, a long smile curling his lips. Everything was going as he had expected it. Now the seed was planted with Draco and his king...and if they do feel threatened by the chance the Ministry will step on Faholgal grounds, then war. War was such chaos...so easy to manipulate things through all the confusion.
But before all that happens, he will need to deal with this small rebellion group that seemed to get in the way. _________________ @ Blotch I keep the wolf from the door, but he calls me up Calls me on the phone, tells me all the ways that he's gonna mess me up |

| Once Draco and Smith had left into the main hall, their pace had increased to a fast walk as if in a hurry to leave. The guard escorting them had trouble keeping up at first, but made sure he was behind them respectfully.
"I know what was said touched personally.." Draco said as he kept his gaze forward; walking toward the main doors. "But you must learn to keep your emotions at bay."
Smith kept Draco's fast pace, but turned his head to retaliate. "But, Sir... you heard what she said... she could very well..."
Draco quickly interrupted. "I know what was said, but that is not an excuse to retaliate. A calm mind is more in control in any situation than an angry one. If you allow your emotions to make your decisions than a conversation could turn into a violent conflict." Draco interrupted to not only control Smith, but the guard was walking with them also.
Smith turned forward and lowered his gaze to the floor infront of him. "Yes, Sir. ...Forgive me, General." the soldier said as two servants opened the main doors to the courtyard.
Carvahall and Porchatis were waiting with the horses as Draco and Smith approached. The servants of O'luca apparently work quickly when the mistress wants her guests to leave. "Any problems?" Draco asked as he approached his horse.
"If cautious and suspicious eyes were on you at every turn is a problem, then yes. But no hostility." Carvahall responded as he climbed onto his horse.
"Good. Nothing less could be the said with our situation. We must make haste, the king is to be reached as soon as possible." Draco said quickly before snapping the horse reins with a "hei'ya!" After a short complaint from Draco's horse, the steed began a quick gallop toward the front gate. The other soldiers were quick to follow on their own steeds. |
