Debalora watched the inn's door for a moment; hopeful Voltrick may turn around and come back inside. But knowing how he was feeling, Debalora knew he wouldn't.

Debalora's arms were folded as she stood there, but soon unfolded them as she released a heavy sigh and turned around to head down another hall. She wouldn't even try to talk to Gordan now. He needed to be alone and think things over... If she tried talking to him, Gordan would quickly reject it and demand his solitude. He needed time to think things over. She prayed, in time, his heart will soften with Voltrick's apology. But Gordan has suffered a lot at the hands of his father, deep wounds sometimes cant heal.

Antonis stood against the corner of a wall away from where he heard the argument. With arms crossed over his chest and head lowered, he stared thoughtfully towards the floor. He had only heard the argument between Gordan and Voltrick, afraid another fight would erupt as it did last time. But all he heard now was a door slamming shut and a fainter one...perhaps the front door closing as well.

A few minutes passed before he heard quiet footsteps approaching towards him, taking this moment to turn and reveal himself, as though he knew it was Debalora that stood before him.

His arms lowered as he silently looked at her, noticing her downcast features on her lovely face. The darkness of the hallway did well to emphasize it, a feeling rising in him the more he saw her. She was tired...and he could well assume from the emotional chaos from Voltrick and 'other' situations.

Antonis stepped up to Debalora, stretching out his arm to take her by the shoulders in a light embrace. "Are you alright?" He asked under his breath, glancing back down the hallway for a moment before returning it to her.

When Antonis turned around the corner at the end of the hall, Debalora's pace halted. But instead of jumping or showing any surprise, she would only look up to him with her eyes winced and eyebrows raised sadly.

Once Antonis gave his light embrace, Debalora gave no retaliation and wrapped her arms lightly around his back and lowered her gaze as she tucked the side of her head against his chest. Regardless of any outward expression she had, she needed this.

"I'm fine.." Debalora quietly said before she raised her head again to see Antonis. "I'm assuming you heard Voltrick... He just left." Voltrick always made Antonis nervy or irritated. She assumed he stood there because of the shouting and the 'disturbance' involving Voltrick.

Antonis tightened his hold of Debalora's shoulders as she tucked her head into his chest, tipping his chin towards her.

"Only heard it but couldn't hear what was said." Antonis answered honestly, glancing towards a certain door Gordan shut himself within, "Gordan seemed very upset. Should someone speak with him?"

Debalora shook her head lightly. "No.." She began, turning her gaze while a deep breath was taken. "He's riled up as it is. ..He needs his time to think things over."

There was a long pause as Debalora thought to herself, deciding if Antonis should know what was exactly said during the argument. She didn't want to rile Antonis up, ..but he did need to know how both Voltrick and Gordan felt at the moment. "...Voltrick apologized to Gordan.." Debalora finally said.

Antonis lifted his brows with interest to this. Apologized? He never thought Voltrick could even mention an apology. Also knowing what that...man had done to Gordan was...

He drew in a patient breath, calming himself as his eyes closed gently. "I don't suppose Gordan accepted it. But somehow I know what Voltrick physically did to Gordan isn't everything involved in this argument." Antonis rationalized, "The last time Voltrick spoke with Gordan, I was bedridden for a week." At this mention, Antonis clutched Debalora's shoulder a bit tighter as he recalled that night. Voltrick came at him with no mercy as though he were letting his frustrations out on Antonis. No...In the midst of all the pain Voltrick inflicted on him, Antonis was able to hear what really went through Voltrick's mind.

"You understand that he blamed me for everything that has to do with Gordan and Aidan. Speaking as though I took them away from him....and in a way, I have in fear they would be injured further by him." Antonis said quietly as though he were mulling to himself. "I'm...afraid of what he is, Debalora." his voice was just under his breath as though he were telling a secret. "And yet Aidan doesn't want to let him go. You don't want to..."

Debalora looked back up to Antonis with winced eyes; knowing fully how Antonis felt. Antonis seemed to suffer the most whenever Voltrick was involved. Voltrick pretty much blamed him for everything as Antonis said. But... this time was different.

"I dont know what happened after Voltrick left the night he attacked you... Between then and now, he seems... different." Debalora hestitated as she ended, but continued. Voltrick would have never come back to the inn. He knew how Gordan felt about him, but he came to apologize to him anyway. There was a deep sadness to him that wasn't there before. But he was also hesitant... like he didn't trust himself. "He was filled with so much sorrow, so much pain." Debalora winced and lowered her gaze again. "I think he's finally realized what he's done. And he's hurting because of it."

"I don't let him go because I know who he was. I've seen him grow up and the good things he's done..." Debalora continued as she looked up to Antonis, her face more emotional than before. "Before Gordan came back, I found Voltrick at his door. He was hesitant at first.. but he told me he didn't want to hurt anyone anymore. He wanted forgiveness." Debalora's brow lowered slighlty. "He refused to say it, but the sadness in his eyes told me enough.... he even hurt because attacked you."

As Debalora looked up to him, Antonis returned her gaze staring down at her with a silent gaze as he thought over what she just said. Voltrick wanted forgiveness...This change in him must have occurred the night Darcia appeared. Debalora wasn't there to see what was done...

Antonis took a breath as he parted himself from Debalora, though he felt reluctant about that, but took a step back. "I think I should speak with him." he said finally, glancing down the hallway leading to the front door. "This change in him cannot go unnoticed."

Debalora released her embrace once Antonis pulled away. Her head lowered at first, but once Antonis started to speak, she looked back up to him again. Her features still emotional. Antonis wanted to talk to Voltrick? Neither one of them would have ever wanted to speak to one another even before Voltrick was taken by the ministry. There was always a violent hostility between them. She feared that hostility would only reappear if they did speak. Especially if it was only Antonis speaking to Voltrick.

"Did you want me to come with you?" Her brow still rose, but she strived to give a more serious gaze. Voltrick had held more hostility towards Antonis, but Antonis was NEVER comfortable around Voltrick and never trusted him. She had to be sure he was actually willing to go to Voltrick.

Antonis looked at Debalora as he thought over her suggestion. It was true he was weary of Voltrick becoming violent towards him again and Debalora would help to bring him down, but with Debalora there, Antonis thought Voltrick would see that Antonis still didn't trust him. That way, why would Voltrick return such trust?

"No. I think it's best I go alone. I hope you understand." Antonis finally said, not wanting Debalora to feel discarded.

"I do.. and its fine. ...Just.." Debalora hesitated and gently wrapped her hand around Antonis' arm. "..Be careful." She didn't want to say it. In a way, she felt disrespectful to Voltrick for saying it. But in all truth, Antonis had to be careful. When it came to Antonis, Voltrick could become easily angered.

Feeling Debalora's touch, Antonis gave her a small smile to reassure her. He knew he was worrying her and he prayed for the day where she didn't have to think of such matters.

"I will, Debalora." he said before he stepped past her, intentionally brushing his shoulder against hers before proceeding down the hallway. He reached the door and walked along the darkened square, turning his head as he heard noises to his right. Antonis only guessed Voltrick was staying inside the stables as he had heard before.

Slowly, Antonis walked towards it, breathing slowly as he readied himself.

Voltrick sat with his back against the stable's wall. His knees were bent up to allow his elbows to position themselves on top of them. His head was lowered and held by his hands. The noise heard from before was from lowering himself to sit. The horses stirred a bit by his pressence, but they calmed after a moment.

Burdened eyes were clenched shut as Voltrick hid them from the world behind his hands. Debalora was right. Voltrick did need his son. To accept him as before and to be with him. It killed him to know Gordan hated everything about him. Nothing Voltrick could do would convince Gordan otherwise... but why should he? Voltrick has done too much to him. And if Gordan could never accept him, the others should feel the same.

Other than the noise from before, everything was quiet as Antonis approached the stables. He only guessed Voltrick would be in there, approaching it curiously. Just at the entrance, Antonis peered inside, his body close to the door until he saw a form in the shadows. Knees were bent and Voltrick's head was hidden behind his hands. Antonis wondered whether the tiger knew he was there at all. Not only that, but if he would accept Antonis to speak.

Hearing quiet footsteps, and that awkward feeling of someone watching him, Voltrick's head quickly rose and turned toward the door. He first appeared irritated someone would disturb him in his state, but his eyes were still swollen and red.

Antonis stood at the stable's door. He was only peering inside, but it was still Antonis. Voltrick only guessed Debalora talked to him about what just happened inside. Either that, or Antonis was 'checking' up on him like everyone else. ...to make sure he wasn't causing trouble.. again.

A sneer appeared as Voltrick folded his arms over his knees. His upper form bent over further as he propped his chin onto his folded arms. Voltrick's brow lowered frustratedly, knowing full well Antonis was still watching him. It wasn't only the fact that it was Antonis watching him, but now Antonis saw him after he just wept. ...Just another thing to be shamed about.

"What do you want?"
