Debalora's head raised from her pillow as Antonis knocked and came inside. Her eyes were widened as she saw him unharmed or even riled. Did he even speak with Voltrick?

After Antonis answered her unspoken question, Debalora quickly sat up. "What?" She said surprisingly, but wouldn't raise her voice. "What happened? How did you convince him to come inside without... trouble?"

"I encouraged both him and I to 'forget' the past for tonight." Antonis shrugged, walking towards the bed. On the opposite side from where Debalora sat, Antonis seated himself, his back facing her as a hand moved to rub his forehead.

"But you were right to be worried...he seemed very different than how I know him to be."

Debalora's brow raised worriedly as she faced Antonis. "With the way he left, I'm surprised he cooperated at all. ...And he's staying in the inn for the night?" Debalora inquired.

"I suppose so. I saw him following me as I came back inside." He said, turning his head to glance back to Debalora.

After a moment as he looked at her, Antonis softly spoke, "He made no attempt of spite against me...that tells me he is true to wanting forgiveness as you said."

A more relieved look came upon Debalora's face as she faced forward, but there was still sadness from before that never left her. Voltrick may be asking for forgiveness and has somehow changed... but what will that mean for later? When something comes up, will he leave? Or will he be angered and hurt somebody again? Course... he did say he didn't want to hurt anyone anymore. But that doesn't guarantee the others will agree or believe him. Especially Gordan.

"..How do you feel about all of this?"

Antonis turned back around with a sigh, staring at the wall in front of him. "I'd rather not have to worry about this at all. But if he keeps to himself and sorts out things, then I won't mind him..." he ended quietly, lowering his chin as though falling deep in thought.

Debalora turned her head toward Antonis to watch him briefly. All of this was a lot to take in, she knew it was heavy enough just for Antonis to take in. She was sure, by the way Antonis looked forward thoughtfully, Antonis wasn't sure how to deal with it. But she had faith in him. And he wasn't alone in this, she and everyone else was there for him as well.

A quiet moment passed before Debalora stood briefly to sit closer to Antonis on the bed. After seating herself, her upper body leaned towards him to rest her head upon his shoulder.

"Thank you." She said softly. "I know it is hard for you because of what he did. But thank you for talking to him."

Antonis' body was nudged against Debalora's as she settled herself, forcing him out of his thoughts. His eyes trailed down, looking at her features from his position. He thought how strange it was that she would only place her head against his shoulders and he felt the her gentle touch replacing the heavy burden of the world from him.

A little smile peeked from the tips of his lips, leaning his cheek against the top of Debalora's head, forgetting about Voltrick.

"How happy I'd be to just sit like this," He said after a while, eyelids hung low as he stared at nothing, "without having to worry whether those I hold close will be harmed every night."

Debalora's brow raised Antonis became more comfortable and made no opposing movements. She was comfortable sitting with Antonis like this.

"It will come. One way or another... it will come."
