Debalora turned back to Antonis with a questioned look upon her features but was halted with Antonis' last sentence. Not only that, but how he acted afterwards

A more stern looked appeared before she spoke and stepped forward towards Antonis. "Then why wait?" She questioned. "Instead of waiting for Murdoc to make his move, why not act now? Going alone may be the worst to do, but maybe there is another way."
She knew something was wrong when had spoken about Murdoc being alive, but if he wanted to tell her he would tell her eventually if he felt it necessary. Either that or she'd force it out of him later.

Antonis frowned to this change of subject, the one he was trying to avoid. He turned his back to her, bringing his hand to rub his forehead tiredly, feeling a heavy need to sit. But he remained standing for the time in indecision. Hah! He couldn't even decide whether to sit or stand!

"I am in no condition to make a final choice in this matter." he muttered quietly, knowing how poor an excuse it was. He chuckled weakly to this thought in dismay. "Perhaps the things Denzel Mowinckel had said affected me more than I thought." Antonis added, turning his head with a glance to Debalora, a weak smile shown.

Debalora's features softened partially. She wasn't there for the entire argument with Denzel and Antonis, but she knew Denzel's opinion on the whole situation. And judging by what she heard and how Antonis is acting, she pretty much knew the entire conversation. Denzel was hardheaded, stubborn, and selfish, but he's honest and only says what he says because he feels it helps Antonis. At least, that's how Debalora looks at it.

"It affects you because what he says is personal and against who you are. Denzel has never been one to hold anything back, so you can at least know he is being honest and may be only trying to help you." She paused and gave a more simpathetic look. "What matters is if you will act upon it and change it for yourself or if you will dwell on it and be worsened by it." She paused again, a look of more hope appearing. "I'm not here to make your decision. But if needs be, I can help you with it."

Going alone to rescue Aidan is suicide, but sometimes, making the decision alone on what to do isn't much better. Antonis has always made the decisions and told them where to go and what to do, maybe its time he didn't take all the responsibility onto himself and let someone else in.

The little smile Antonis had disappeared with little notice as he turned his head forward again, looking away, to the bed that seemed so alluring.

"Let me think on it." He said in a tired voice, "I would like everyone to discuss it in the morning."

Debalora's words had, in fact, persuaded him. He wasn't himself as of late, feeling more angered and tired of everything. Was it because Aidan wasn't here? The cat barely moves and yet he had such impact. Antonis' spirits lowered as he thought of Aidan again, wondering to himself how he'll ever get through the night.

"We will talk tomorrow. I promise it. But please, let me rest." he beckoned, turning to face Debalora.

Debalora's eyes squinted, but kept her eyebrows raised in a kindly demeanor. "As you wish." she said, about to turn towards the door. She was glad to hear he mentioned everyone discussing it. Instead of himself only taking on the burden. He has enough pressure deciding everything else by himself.

"If you need anything, you know where I'll be." she added as she began her walk towards the room door; looking back toward Antonis to see if he would give any kind of response.

With everything said and expressed, she still had hoped she could have helped him a bit more. Given him some kind of comfort in all of this. Perhaps it was her rush to act now instead of later. This could have riled him up even more than he was. But she knew, deep inside, he needed Aidan. And no form of comfort would truly be accepted unless it was from Aidan himself.

Sometimes, you just have to let others in. Especially when the only one you rely on isn't there.
